    According to NASA, kepler-452, the star kepler-452b revolves around, has the same temperature, and is 20% brighter, and 10% larger in diameter than our Sun.

    The habitable zone, according to Wikipedia, is the region around a star within which planetary-mass objects with sufficient atmospheric pressure can support liquid water at their surfaces. Because kepler-452b lies in this zone, life on its surface might be possible.

    kepler-452b's diameter is not much larger than Earth. It's just 60% larger than planet Earth.

    Kepler 452B is a much older planet than our Earth and it can be predicted that's how our Earth will look like in 1 billion years from now. The temperatures are very high (around 450 Celsius degrees) and most of the oceans probably already evaporated because of the strong greenhouse effect.
